Project Management information

Project Management Expert Using Prince 2, Agile and Gantt Charts

Why are projects important to organisations?

Projects are a temporary commitment to deliver a product or service that is different to day to day commitments. These are important for businesses of all backgrounds, sizes and sectors as they offer benefits such as developing research, a marketing campaign, launching an event, improving efficiency, introducing new recruits, or launching a new range of products or services.

How is a Project Methodology chosen?

A project methodology is how the project is completed, common methodolgies include, PRINCE2, Agile or Waterfall. (Learn more)
The method depends on the project. For a project with multiple parts moving at the same time, PRINCE2 and Agile is a good methodology. Where there is a project with a lot of dependent stages, then Waterfall is a good methodology. At Feldeluxe we work with a mixture of methologies to ensure the project is delivered.

What do you need to run a project?

There are plenty of extras you need to run a project. The core things you need to run any project is a Scope what you want to achieve with your project, Costs what resources do you have access to or budget for, Time you need to set deadlines.
There are other documents that can help communicate Scope, Cost and Time. Such as Gantt charts, PID’s, risk assessments, communication log, learning log and the project brief.

Onboarding Feldeluxe to fulfil your project

We will take care of all the terminology through proposing a project bespoke to your organisation all the way to the approval stage.
